Farah Celebrates 10 years at Telebank!

Long-serving Telebank employee, Farah Rashid, celebrated her tenth year of working at Telebank. We caught up with Farah recently and asked about her work, what motivates her to bring her best self to work every day, and what she likes most about working at Telebank:

"My name is Farah and I am the Administration Manager at Telebank. I provide support and manage all the administrative tasks such as processing and managing payroll, Operational HR, planning, scheduling meetings and deadlines, keeping up-to-date with all organisational changes and business developments, personnel reporting, developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures. It’s a busy role and one that I love!

No two days are ever the same, and every day brings a new adventure. I enjoy the diversity of tasks and even the unexpected challenges tomorrow might bring.

I started working for Telebank in 2012 and since then stepped up the ladder as follows:

  • Customer Service Operator: customer Service skills, professionalism, attention to detail.
  • Account Manager: patience, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Office Supervisor: leadership, team building, strategic perspective, dependability, problem solving, ability to deal with changes effectively.
  • Administration Manager: managing administrative and personnel activities, organisational, management, scheduling, and planning skills.

As well as keeping the company’s administrative processes running smoothly, I particularly like being involved in the company’s growth and seeing how it continues to expand its range of charity client response solutions. We are a hardworking, collaborative and motivated team here, and we have a strong work ethic, driven as this is by the fact that we are actively making a difference to the impact made by charities."
